If my partner cheated on me, I think it could be possible to forgive them, but I could never trust them again. and that’s where the relationship is ruined. because without trust, what is left? a life of paranoia and anxiety and wondering why you weren’t good enough. it would eat away at your mental health, sanity, and self esteem. and that’s why the relationship is irreparably destroyed, forever.
